The role |
As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

* Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture within the management team.
* Are dedicated to ensuring an outstanding guest experience, with every dish prepared to exceptional standards, either by your efforts or by equipping your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
* Have experience in maintaining high standards for food, health, and safety, and understand the financial aspects of running a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
* Are committed to building a coaching culture, working with your head chef to recruit and develop your team, fostering personal and professional growth.
* Are a proactive problem solver, capable of quick thinking and decision-making.

* Experience leading a kitchen team as a head chef or senior sous chef, driving performance through positive actions in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, capable of having meaningful conversations and ensuring your team feels supported.
* Proven experience in maintaining high standards for food, health, safety, and financial management, including GP and stock control.
* Ability to manage labor costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team to thrive in their roles and careers.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belongs.
* Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
