Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Salary: Up to £1100 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher passionate about supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school setting in Dinnington (S25).
As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, or social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. You will create a nurturing learning environment where every student feels supported, valued, and motivated to succeed.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and EHCPs.
* Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
* Use inclusive teaching strategies to promote engagement, progress, and independence.
* Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to support development.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and meetings when required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching students with special educational needs in a school setting.
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education.
* A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
