We are looking for an O&M Engineer to join our operations and maintenance team based across the Midlands. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of mechanical systems that generate and distribute energy.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance for plant rooms and renewable energy systems at a number of high-profile public sector sites, in addition to private sector facilities
* Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Provide technical assistance to clients, contractors and work colleagues within the sphere of operation and fulfil customer service requirements while meeting QHSE objectives
* Ensure statutory and mandatory inspections are satisfactorily carried out and documented in line with the company’s management system
* Accurately maintain and submit relevant documentation and records as required
* Undertake subcontractor management where necessary
* Respond to issues as part of a call‑out rota
What You Will Need
* Recognised electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience
* Demonstrable electrical maintenance and fault‑finding experience covering heating, refrigeration, pumping or similar plant‑room equipment
* Prior experience working with renewable energy technologies such as heat pumps and solar is highly advantageous
* Full UK manual driving licence
* Experience of working within a call‑out rota is beneficial
