Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Assistant to join our busy payroll team looking after the payroll processing for circa 200 businesses of various sizes. The successful candidate will support payroll processing, ensure accurate data entry, and assist with related administrative tasks. Responsibilities
* Assist in processing employee payroll using BrightPay system.
* Enter and verify employee data accurately within payroll.
* Maintain organised records of payroll transactions, employee information, and related documentation.
* Assist with month-end reporting related to payroll activities.
* Support ad hoc administrative duties as required within the payroll / CIS department.
Qualifications
* Proven experience with payroll systems and functions for multiple clients.
* Familiarity with BrightPay payroll software is desirable.
* Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Prior experience in payroll administration is essential.
