Reception 1:1 Support Assistant – L31 | Make a Meaningful Impact with Milk Education
Are you a nurturing and passionate practitioner with a background in Early Years?
Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Reception 1:1 Support Assistant to work closely with a young boy in a wonderful primary school in the L31 area. This role is perfect for someone who truly wants to make a difference in a child’s early school journey.
✨ The Role
1. Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
2. Start Date: After February half-term
3. Contract: Long-Term
4. Setting: Warm, welcoming, and supportive primary school environment
You will provide tailored 1:1 support, helping the pupil thrive both academically and emotionally through play-based, child-centred learning.
Key Responsibilities
5. Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil.
6. Support play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
7. Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence.
8. Foster a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
9. Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff.
10. Use a patient, positive, and compassionate approach at all times.
What We’re Looking For
11. Experience working in Early Years is essential.
12. Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
13. Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in a child’s early development.
14. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
