We are working closely with a Thirsk based manufacturing business who are looking for an Accounts Admin to join their busy team.
This is a fully office based role where your own transport will be required due to a lack of public transport links to their site.
The role will include:
1. Sales ledger processing and management of the credit control function
2. Purchase order processing
3. Export administration and invoicing
4. Reconciliations
5. General office administration as required
The successful candidate will be organised, have great administrative and clerical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must:
6. Confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people, from senior management to customers and suppliers
7. Be proficient in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
8. Ability to use basic accounting software
9. Professional and flexible approach and attitude
10. Understand responsibilities with regards to confidentiality
11. Prioritise own workload
12. Work in close liaison and support other team members, which may include providing cover when required
