Learning & Development Advisor - Sizewell C - Suffolk based
Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable low‑carbon electricity.
What you’ll be doing
The L&D Advisor ensures Civil Works Alliance employees remain compliant with required training. Working closely with the L&D Manager, HR, Health & Safety and project teams, you will identify, schedule and deliver training courses, maintain training records and report on training data.
General responsibilities
* Book employees onto the relevant training courses and liaise with trainers, delegates and suppliers.
* Manage upcoming expiries to ensure CWA employee compliance with SQEP process (SZC and CWA requirements).
* Monitor training data and attendance, support administrative duties.
* Report on training activities.
* Map current and future training needs with SZC, H&S and Quality teams to develop programmes and select appropriate courses.
* Track and improve L&D systems.
* Organise audits of delivered training courses.
* Collaborate with HR and HS&E teams to ensure continuity of programmes.
Key competencies
* Previous work experience in HR/Training sector.
* Good knowledge of training requirements in UK construction and civil engineering.
* Collaborative working with cross‑functional teams.
* Initiative and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
