A primary school in the M26 area is currently looking to recruit a professional and committed individual for the role of SEN Support Teaching Assistant to help create engaging educational experiences for children in EYFS. The school prides itself on building strong relationships built on trust, with both parents and pupils alike. This role would be 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, starting in the new academic year, term-time only, until the end of the academic year (July 2026). Relevant education-based qualifications (level 2/3 education-based qualification) are preferred but not essential.
Within this role, you will be expected to support with pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities; to encourage positive behaviour and to work together with other SEN Support Teaching Assistants and class teachers. You will get involved in the pupils’ learning of foundation subjects (maths, English and phonics) and support those pupils with additional needs.
