Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Operations Director to lead and oversee the operational functions across two Early Years settings within our group organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to influence organisational growth and success at a senior level whilst leading a senior management team taking full P&L responsibility along with complete statutory and regulatory oversight.
Duties
* Develop and implement comprehensive strategies aligned with organisational goals and our vision within the Early Years sector
* Oversee daily operations across various departments, ensuring seamless coordination & communication and having overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the settings
* Lead, mentor, and supervise senior management and wider staff to optimise performance and achieve targets.
* Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authority, Ofsted, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
* Manage budgets, resources, and staffing plans to support organisational objectives.
* Drive initiatives that promote innovation, efficiency, and quality assurance throughout operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in supervising teams within a management or leadership capacity within the Early Years sector
* Demonstrable management skills with a track record of leading multi-site operations successfully.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams at all levels.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
* Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant qualifications within Early Years (degree level/level 6 or 7) are desirable. This role is ideal for a proactive leader committed to operational excellence and organisational growth. Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
