Business Development Manager – UK Distribution South West
We are looking for a field salesperson to join our South West team, covering the central south coast area: Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire. The candidate will ideally live in and around the BA, SN, SP or RG postcodes. The successful candidate will be responsible for all independent and buying group customers within the territory.
The team consists of 4 Business Development Managers and this role would suit an individual who is proactive, has strong relationship‑building skills, enthusiastic and has a desire to succeed.
Purpose of the Role
To maximise sales and profitability through the education and relationship management of customers and potential customers within the Distribution Market.

Qualifications
* Strong field sales experience within the construction industry.
* Strategic management of area to maximise sales and profitability.
* Ability to develop strong customer relationships. Industry knowledge would be advantageous.
* Must be IT literate and have working knowledge of CRM systems.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Self‑motivated and results driven.
* A significant commitment to professional and personal development from day one, including a comprehensive local, product knowledge and leadership development initiatives.
What we need from you
* Clean, current driving licence.
* Minimum of 2 years field sales experience.
* Proven track record of delivering results.
* Must live in the area to be covered.
* Industry/competitor knowledge would be advantageous.
