Role: Interim Transactional Finance Team Manager
Type: Interim Contract (3 to 6 months)
Salary: £500 - £700 per day
Hybrid: Ideally 1 to 2 days a week onsite (negotiable)

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a Leicestershire Local Authority to recruit an Interim Transactional Finance Team Manager on a 3 to 6 month contract.
The responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Team Manager will be:
Lead and manage the transactional finance team across income, banking, debtors, creditors and procure to pay
Oversee the Accounts Payable and Sundry Debtors functions
Ensure month-end processes, reconciliations and reporting timetables are met
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with council policies and legislation
Drive continuous improvement across transactional finance processes and systems
Monitor KPIs and team performance across the transactional finance service
Provide financial information and advice to managers, officers and elected members
Support the development of a strong financial management culture across the organisation
The ideal candidate for the Transactional Finance Team Manager role will have:
Proven experience managing transactional finance operations within Local Government
Strong team management and leadership capability
A solid understanding of financial management systems, governance and transactional finance operations
Experience managing Accounts Payable and Sundry Debtors functions
