As an ASHP Engineer, youâll install air source heat pumps, cylinders, carry out general plumbing tasks, and ensure all certification and evidence is submitted on time.

4. Planning and requesting materials in advance
5. Using measuring equipment accurately
6. Working from diagrams, sketches, written and verbal instructions
đ What Youâll Bring
đ Qualifications (Essential unless stated)
7. NVQ L2/L3 Domestic Plumbing or City & Guilds equivalent
8. Level 3 Award: Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (C&G, BPEC or LCL)
9. Water Regulations
10. G3 Unvented Cylinders
11. Desirable: Solar RFQ L3, FâGas
12. Clean driving licence
13. Electrical qualifications (17th/18th Edition, control reâwiring) desirable
đ Experience & Knowledge
14. Experience within local authority/social housing environments
15. Knowledge of domestic installations and appliances
16. Familiarity with PAS 2030 standards
17. Technical competence in faultâfinding and rectification
18. Good understanding of heating systems and controls (BMS desirable)
19. Understanding of H&S and best practice
20. Ability to work with domestic & commercial pipework, including press systems
