The Opportunity: We're looking for a talented and driven Finance Administrator to join our close-knit team. In this important role, you'll be instrumental in helping steer the company through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director you will be responsible for day to day financial operations, forecasting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements. This is an exciting chance to shape the future of gaming with a company that values creativity, efficiency, and responsible play.
What You'll Do:
* Manage all aspects of the finance function, including bookkeeping, reporting, and payroll
* Oversee cash flow, banking, and credit control
* Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, etc.)
* Support the annual process and liaise with external accountants providing support to the Group FD
* Provide financial insight to support strategic decisions
* Identify opportunities for financial improvement and cost control
Desirable skills
* Willing to embrace the company's culture and way of working
* Have completed AAT Level 4 or be qualified by experience
* At least 3 years' experience using SAGE 50 accounting software and possess a high degree of competency in the use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Experience of payroll systems
* Highly motivated with excellent organisation skills and a hands-on approach,
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to work to deadlines, with minimal supervision at a fast pace
* Forward thinking, ability to generate and share new ideas and follow them through to completion
* Excellent communication skills
