Responsibilities

* Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication.
* Keep the dining area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
