We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for a Trade Planning Manager to lead the trade and promotional plan for the Cultural, Seasonal, & Trade Events across all formats.
You'll be responsible for developing plans based on customer and product insight to deliver a winning proposition for our Customers and Tesco.

- Building a winning trade plan to improve performance year on year and against competitors, growing sales value, volume, profit, and market share.
- Influencing stakeholders at all levels to meet critical deadlines and briefings for space and customer propositions.
- Understanding performance drivers through analytics and collaboration with functions like dunnhumby, finance, and insight to build the Trade Space plan.
- Using insight and customer understanding to optimize space, sales, and perception in the Events programme.
- Prioritizing propositions, promotions, and offers based on customer needs and calendar themes.
- Continuously reviewing and improving the Promotional offering and feature space to drive sales, ensuring promotions are effective and incremental.
- Building relationships with Retail, Product, Customer, SRM, and Strategy & Trade teams.
- Monitoring competitor Promotions and Events across channels to proactively plan and 'win the week.'
- Engaging in Range development, Trade planning, and Merchandise Planning or Buying.
- Managing Critical Path activities.
- Demonstrating a proven track record of decision-making based on Market Data.
- Possessing strong analytical, data interpretation, influencing, and communication skills.
