Working closely with our Strategic & Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving Council outcomes through the effective management of our natural capital assets. What you’ll do: Lead and motivate a dedicated team responsible for five parks and three greenways. Support Senior Rangers in managing their teams and oversee three Specialist Rangers focused on key habitats. Take ownership of health and safety, ensuring visitors and staff are safe at all times. Oversee site management to maintain high standards and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Work collaboratively with the strategic and commercial team to maximize the value of our green spaces. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in managing country parks or similar services. Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, shift-based teams in a public-facing environment. A solid understanding of delivering public health and education outcomes through natural capital assets. Knowledge of monitoring frameworks and performance management to drive quality and efficiency.
