**Job Description:**
Schedules and pre-registers patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department-specific appointments. Completes administrative tasks related to scheduling and transcribes external orders from physicians. Handles high call volumes across multiple locations and departments.
**Essential Functions:**
1. Utilizes multiple systems to perform scheduling functions effectively.
2. Demonstrates excellent computer skills with the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
3. Provides patients with appointment preparation and location information.
4. Accurately collects and inputs patient data into the system.
5. Validates patient insurance and explains benefits as needed.
6. Manages multiple phone calls, including answering, transferring, and conferencing.
7. Mentors new hires as needed.
8. Promotes Intermountain Health's mission, vision, and values, and adheres to service standards.
9. Performs additional duties as assigned.

**Physical Requirements:**
Ongoing ability to see, read, and interpret information; communicate effectively; manipulate equipment with manual dexterity; and, for roles requiring driving, operate a vehicle safely.
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent, or 4 years of revenue cycle experience.
* At least 2 years of revenue cycle or contact center experience.
* Must pass the ALTA Language Services QBS assessment.

**Hourly Rate:**
$18.81 - $24.26, depending on experience.
