Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops, and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. We have recently launched a new system that will revolutionise how people with diabetes monitor their glucose levels. We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people’s lives.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a STARS Technician to join our Product Test team, providing quality and compliant sensor testing. You will perform visual inspection of sensors and undertake physical testing procedures, utilizing laboratory equipment, machinery, and instruments to perform sensor testing, review batch records, and approve for product release, on-market stability, complaints, and product development trials.
You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment within a dedicated and welcoming team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to effectively multi-task within procedures and protocols, and possess good communication and time management skills. This is a shift working role, on a rotating pattern of early and late shifts (0600 – 1400 and 1400 – 2200), from Saturday to Wednesday.
To be successful, you should have completed secondary education in English and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates with a scientific background, although transferable skills are welcomed. Experience in a regulated, quality-oriented industry with GLP and GMP knowledge is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
