Sales Engineer | Great Barr, Birmingham | Full Time | £27,500 per annum

Are you the right person for the job?
* Experience working with bespoke computer systems
* Understanding the company product range and/or the wider power transmission sector
* Good knowledge of typical customer types and their commercial needs
* Strong communication skills at all levels
* Professional and courteous manner with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
* Excellent telephone manner and PC literacy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
* Experience with Zoho software is an advantage
* Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
* Determined, adaptable, and able to embrace change with a positive attitude
What will your role look like?
* Responding to sales enquiries via phone and email
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Producing accurate and competitive quotations
* Providing up-to-date information on stock, availability, and pricing
* Entering and tracking all enquiries and quotes on the system daily
* Liaising with key suppliers for products outside of in-house manufacture
* Accurately entering and progressing sales orders
* Proactively updating customers on order progress, delivery changes, or delays
* Working closely with internal sales, technical, and production teams
* Communicating market and competitor activity
* Contributing to increasing order intake and overall sales
* Following company procedures, quality standards, and policies
