Grounds Maintenance Operative Walsall £13 per hour 07:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday 14:30 finish on Friday About the Role We are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative on behalf of our client, a professional grounds maintenance company based in Walsall. This is a practical outdoor role supporting the upkeep of commercial sites, housing developments, and managed outdoor spaces. The work is hands on and suits someone who enjoys working outside and takes pride in maintaining a clean and well presented environment. What You’ll Do • Carry out grass cutting duties using appropriate equipment • Trim hedges and manage general vegetation • Litter pick across sites and pathways • Sweep hard standing areas and access routes • Carry out edging and spraying tasks where required • Work as part of a team to maintain high standards across client sites What We’re Looking For • Full UK driving licence is essential • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or grass cutting • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic • Able to follow instructions and health and safety guidance Who Might Suit This Role This position could suit someone with experience as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, Gardener, Landscape Labourer, Environmental Operative, or Maintenance Worker.
