Commercial Manager Circa £60,000 bacic plus package Coveris: Louth Full-Time | Permanent Reporting to: Managing Director We are seeking acommercially driven, highly analytical Commercial Managerto join our leadership team at Coveris Louth. This is a pivotal role with significant influence across pricing strategy, customer tenders, margin management and commercial governance. As Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping commercial decision-making across the site, using detailed analysis, market insight and financial acumen to support profitable growth. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide clarity, challenge assumptions, and ensure pricing and commercial activity aligns with both customer expectations and business objectives. The role In this position, you will take ownership of pricing, estimating and tendering activity, ensuring robust, consistent and data-driven commercial processes. You will act as a key commercial business partner to Sales, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain, supporting informed decision-making and driving margin improvement across the customer portfolio. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial governance, contracts and compliance, embedding best practice and strengthening controls as the business evolves. Key responsibilities Lead all pricing, estimating and customer tender processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and commercial rigour Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, cost inputs and product performance to optimise pricing and maximise contribution margins Own the commercial evaluation of new and existing business opportunities, including scenario modelling and risk assessment Manage customer SLAs, contracts and commercial terms, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policy Support negotiations with customers by providing insight, analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders Develop and maintain pricing models, margin analysis and reporting to support transparent decision-making Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain to align commercial strategy with operational capability Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, governance and controls Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning through robust commercial input About you To succeed in this role, youll bring a strong blend of commercial insight, analytical capability and stakeholder influence. Youll be comfortable working with complex data, balancing detail with strategic perspective, and communicating clearly with both commercial and operational teams. You will demonstrate: Proven commercial and analytical experience, ideally within packaging, manufacturing or FMCG environments Strong financial awareness, cost understanding and margin management capability Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting and challenging at senior level High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with Power BI or similar tools is advantageous A proactive, organised and positive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and commercial excellence
