Are you a skilled Electrical Mechanical Engineer with experience working with pump sets? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for an Electrical Mechanical Field Service Engineer for our client in the Castleford area.
The Role:
This position involves a combination of workshop-based and field-based servicing and maintenance. You will be working with diesel sets and pumps/rotating equipment.
The working hours in the workshop are Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 13:30. When you are on the road, flexibility is required. This role is split between workshop-based and field service-based.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dismantling, rebuilding, and refurbishing pumps and diesel sets in the workshop
* Delivering maintenance and servicing on customer sites
* Ensuring all inspection and assembly documentation is complete
* Following procedures, policies, and work instructions
* Electrical inspection of pumps
* Mechanical measurement of components and critical dimensions
* Pressure testing pump sets
* Assisting with other departments as and when required
About you:
* Skilled Electrical / Mechanical Engineer
* Experience with diesel pump sets or rotating equipment
* Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship, or time served
* Experience working in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Fault-finding skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Electric motor and control equipment experience
Desirable qualifications/training:
* CSCS Card
* Confined space training
* Lifting & Slinging
* Water Hygiene qualified
