What You’ll Be Doing
* Architect & Build: Design and develop performant and maintainable applications using Python (APIs) and React (frontend).
* Lead Technical Strategy: Own architecture decisions and balance speed, scale, and security.
* Code & Mentor: Contribute high-quality code, set engineering standards, and guide junior engineers as the team grows.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, design, go-to-market, and leadership to build core offerings.
* System-Level Thinking: Focus on system design, database optimization, and scalable microservices architecture.
* Optional Innovation Areas: Blockchain or cryptographic experience is a plus but not required.
Ideal Background
* 7+ years of experience in full stack development
* Expertise in Python for API development
* Solid skills in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
* Experience working with Docker and containerized development environments
* Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message bus systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ)
* Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployments
* Secure system design practices: authentication, API security, encryption, data protection
* Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
* Great communicator with an eye for clear, thorough documentation
Bonus Experience
* Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
* Blockchain knowledge (wallets, Ethereum, C2PA, cryptography)
* Working on AI/ML-powered systems or AI product integrations
