Kintec Global Recruitment is partnering with a leading global engineering and professional services consultancy to recruit a Senior / Project Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure programmes across the UK.
This is a pivotal leadership role within a rapidly expanding Project Management team, offering the opportunity to deliver high-value, complex, multi-disciplinary projects as part of the AMP8 investment cycle - the largest capital programme in the UK water sector to date.
You will act as a key interface between clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring successful delivery across cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects and programmes, ensuring successful outcomes against key performance metrics
* Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, driving efficiency and collaboration
* Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
* Take ownership of commercial and financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and cost estimates
* Ensure adherence to governance, safety, and quality standards
* Support bid preparation and tender submissions, contributing to programme and cost development
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture
* Support business development activities, strengthening client relationships and securing repeat work
Project Exposure
* AMP8 frameworks (2025–2030) across the UK water sector
* Design & Build alliances with Tier 1 contractors
* Long-term frameworks with major UK utilities
* Large-scale infrastructure and sustainable water projects, including resilience and treatment programmes
Candidate Profile
* Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
* Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing project financials and contracts
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
* Excellent communication and client engagement skills
* Experience within the UK water sector or regulated infrastructure environment
* Track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality targets
