Workplace Coordinator – ISS Birmingham Office

Overview / Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated Workplace Coordinator to support the safe, efficient and effective running of the ISS Birmingham workplace. In this customer‑facing role, you will help curate a world‑class workplace experience for ISS employees and stakeholders, while ensuring all activities are delivered in line with ISS methodologies, standards and values.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about workplace service, able to build strong relationships, and confident supporting both day‑to‑day operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as an ambassador for the ISS core story, People Make Places, you will play a key role in delivering a five‑star workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality workplace services in line with ISS procedures, policies and experience standards.
Respond effectively to all end‑user and client requests, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
Maintain a safe and compliant workplace in accordance with HSEQ requirements.
Support catering and cleaning provisions on site, undertaking required training.
Operate to agreed SOPs and keep workplace documentation and records up to date.
Build strong working relationships to drive a 'One Team' approach across ISS.
Support the Workplace Manager with safety, security, technical and sustainability compliance.
Provide general support and cover for the Workplace Manager and Property team when required.
Experience & Traits
Strong background in a customer‑facing environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and respond decisively in fast‑moving situations.
Proactive learner who can develop technical knowledge and understand ISS processes and systems.
Confident working independently and collaboratively, with a motivated and flexible approach.
Intermediate Microsoft Office capability and a solid understanding of health and safety principles.
Passion for continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
