Prospero Teaching are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of History to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Cullompton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, within a supportive and high-achieving Humanities department.

The Role
* Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach a GCSE curriculum including:Medicine Through Time, Early Elizabethan England (1558-88), Superpower Relations (Cold War), and Germany 1918-39
* Contribute to a broad and diverse KS3 curriculum exploring a wide range of historical themes and periods
* Plan and deliver adaptive, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Support the wider life of the school through tutoring, extra-curricular involvement, and collaboration with colleagues
* Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policy
* Promote a positive learning environment rooted in respect, ambition and high expectations
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach History to GCSE
* A passion for inspiring young people
* Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills
* Commitment to safeguarding, inclusivity, and promoting positive student outcomes
Desirable:
* Experience teaching the Edexcel GCSE History syllabus
* Experience delivering high-impact interventions
* Strong data analysis skills to inform teaching and planning
