The Successful Quality Inspector - Package:

£16.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

37.5 hours per week

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 16:30pm & Friday: 8:00am – 13:30pm

Permanent, full-time position

The Successful Quality Inspector - Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in aerospace precision engineering. The ideal candidate will bring:

Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
*
Proficiency in using Faro Arm measuring equipment, with the ability to complete accurate dimensional inspections of complex, high-value components.
*
Strong knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100 and ISO9001.
*
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
*
Experience carrying out FAIRs, ISIRs, and detailed inspection reports to customer requirements.
*
A proactive approach to non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause/corrective actions.
*
Hands-on experience with a range of manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM experience advantageous).
*
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a high-spec aerospace environment.
