A leading company in the Facilities Management sector is seeking a Contract Supervisor in Greater Manchester. You will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering services, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards across various sites.
The Role As the Contract Supervisor, you will:
Support the Account Manager, Jon Allcock, in managing a team of engineers to ensure the timely and safe completion of PPM and reactive works. Your responsibilities will include:
Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day engineering activities to ensure total alignment with client requirements.
Compliance & Audits: Taking a lead role in paperwork, health and safety compliance, and ensuring all sites are "audit-ready" at all times.
Coordination: Liaising with internal engineering staff and subcontractors for seamless service delivery.
Technical Support: Providing guidance to the team, including spending approximately 5–10% of your time "on the tools" to assist during peak periods or complex tasks.
Site Presence: This is a site-based role where you will spend four days across various locations and one day in the office or "floating" as required. You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Supervisory Experience: Proven experience managing teams within Facilities Management or engineering, ideally having progressed from a hands-on technical background.
Audit Expertise: Strong experience with audit trails and compliance is essential. You must be computer literate and confident in managing digital reports and data.
Regulatory Knowledge: A robust understanding of Health & Safety regulations and industry compliance standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-oriented attitude and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Salary & Travel: A competitive salary of £45,000 per annum. While no company vehicle is provided, a mileage allowance is paid for travel between sites (all locations are within a convenient 5-mile radius).
Work-Life Balance: Standard working hours are 08:30–17:00, with all Bank Holidays off.
Optional Overtime: There is no mandatory call-out obligation; however, if you choose to participate, you will receive a minimum 4-hour payment per call-out.
