Chief Commercial Officer - Advice (UK Wealth Manager / IFA)

About the Role
A leading UK wealth management and IFA business is executing a transformation of its retail wealth and advice division. The firm is launching a hybrid advice model aimed at delivering exceptional client experience, boosting adviser productivity, and ensuring lasting commercial viability. We require a strategic commercial leader to take interim ownership of this transformation, crafting the roadmap, embedding performance rigor, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Redesign the adviser operating model: compensation, incentives, productivity metrics, and accountability structures
* Take ownership of P&L levers: lead generation, conversion, adviser economics, and cost-to-serve
* Collaborate with product, digital, and tech teams to embed client-centric tools and compress advice cycle times
* Integrate direct-to-consumer channels and digital advice alongside the traditional adviser network
* Reset performance where needed, establishing a disciplined rhythm of KPIs, dashboards, reviews, and accountability
* Develop a scalable blueprint for broader roll-out across client segments
Candidate Profile
* Strong track record of leading advice transformation within UK wealth managers or IFA networks
* Direct experience with P&L ownership and measurable commercial uplift
* Proven ability to digitise advice journeys, improving conversion and shortening cycle times
* Skilled change leader in regulated, legacy organisations with sensitivity to compliance constraints
* Hands-on, execution-oriented, with credibility among adviser networks and senior executives
