**Job Description:****Stay Ahead of Trends**: Plays a vital role in the identification of emerging trends and industry best practices and keeps informed of competitor college and university garden leadership models.* Post-secondary 3-year diploma/degree in Garden Management or related field* Minimum 5 years of related, progressive work and leadership experience with garden leadership, ornamental horticulture, horticulture, agri-tech, greenhouse, and/or botanic garden environment conservation* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered* Greenhouse Management with Botanical Gardens Background, Licensing and Experience is an asset* Supervisory experience with strong leadership ability* Teaching or employment in a post-secondary environment is an asset* Related computer software experience* Solid skills and experience in human resource management, budget planning, forecasting, resource allocation, marketplace intelligence and a commitment to service excellence* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with client service skills and conflict resolution* Experience in establishing alliances with business/industry partners* Problem-solving, negotiating and project management skills* Ability and background to learn about and develop funded research projects* Valid Driver's license and ability to travel between Fanshawe locations**A place where you belong:**Embark on a fulfilling career journey with us!
