We're looking for a Semi-Skilled Mechanic/Technician to join our dedicated team at the AM Phillip Trucktech Prep Centre in Forfar. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your skills, and contribute to the preparation and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing new and used vehicles to a high standard.
* Replacing wheels and tyres.
* Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
* Assisting senior technicians with repairs and troubleshooting.
* Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
* Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous hands-on experience in a workshop or automotive environment.
* A working knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including brakes, suspension, exhausts, and basic diagnostics.
* Ability to carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs independently.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* A team player with excellent communication skills.
* Eagerness to learn and grow within the role, with a proactive attitude.
* Passion for the automotive industry and a drive to progress.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
