Reporting to the Operations / Procurement Lead, the Vendor Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the new procurement function at Paymentsense. As we enter a new phase of rapid growth and expansion, this role will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes, allowing the team to operate with speed and agility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new procurement strategy and make a significant impact on existing supplier relationships.
Procurement
* Support all Vendor activities (Due Diligence, Performance Monitoring, Onboarding, Off-boarding) by assisting the Vendor Management Lead and managing relevant documentation.
* Assist in the analysis of current supplier relationships and agreements to identify areas for optimisation.
* Support the implementation of new procurement/vendor strategies and processes, ensuring they balance control with Paymentsense's entrepreneurial nature.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with sourcing strategy and contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
* Help to drive optimisation of value from third parties, focusing on performance, cost, reliability, and operational risk.
* Assist with formal communications with external companies during the procurement process and support negotiations of key contracts.
* Help to utilise appropriate technology solutions to enable process efficiencies and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
Additional
* Contribute to the identification of opportunities for value creation and cost optimization across the organisation.
* Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within financial operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
* Support the development and implementation of robust internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
* Support the implementation of new systems or tools to streamline workflows.
* Contribute to the preparation for and management of audits and regulatory reviews.
