Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
* Assist residents with daily routines, from personal care to social activities, while encouraging them to make positive choices.
* Follow personalized care plans, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to individual needs.
* Maintain resident health records, communicating concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
* Create a warm and welcoming environment, fostering social interactions among residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will:
* Empower residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily tasks and promoting positive lifestyle choices.
* Support residents with their nutritional needs, ensuring they receive adequate food and drink.
* Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant (transferable skills considered).
* A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and delivering excellent service.
