Business Development Specialist - Leicester

Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am 5.00pm

What you will be doing

Youll be part of our Business Development team, identifying and developing new sales opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers. Youll also work closely with our marketing and leadership teams to help grow our market presence and support our wider business goals.

In everything you do, youll help uphold the companys mission, vision, and values, supporting the bigger picture of our business.

You day to day responsibilities include: -

Recognise and develop potential sales opportunities with new and existing customers.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.

Offer an excellent level of customer service with close attention to detail.

Document clear and concise account information via our ERP system.

Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities within specific industries.

Responsible for individual time management and effective planning.

Visit other company sites and meet with internal and external customers to build relationships and support business growth.

What are we looking for

Were looking for someone who is sales driven, highly motivated, and able to work confidently on their own initiative. Youll be organised, eager to build your product knowledge, and keen to understand our market. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach are essential, as youll be working closely with colleagues across departments, branches, and sister companies. If youre adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering great service to both customers and teammates, youll fit right in.

To be successful in this role, youll need the following:

Sales driven with a high level of motivation to succeed.

Highly organised with the ability to work on own initiative.

Desire to build strong product knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.

Great work ethic and ability to work well as a team.

Collaborative approach with all departments, branches and sister companies.

Demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to all customers and colleagues.

Adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt and influence effectively.

Benefits

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Bonus scheme
