Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – South West – Hybrid
OCM Consulting is expanding, and we are seeking talented Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join our commercial team.
This is a rare opportunity to work across a wide range of Civil Engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK, supporting contractors with commercial management, NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, valuations, cost control, and project delivery.

Responsibilities (role-dependent)
* Site measurement, including take-offs, valuations, and cost analysis
* Change management and programme adjustments
* Applications for payment and final account settlements
* Dispute resolution
* Material quantifying and scheduling
* Attending progress and account meetings
* Managing contractor supply chain documentation requirements
* Supporting Senior / Lead QSs in day-to-day commercial tasks
Requirements
* Open to Assistant, Intermediate, and Senior Quantity Surveyors
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role for Assistant / Intermediate, more for Senior roles
* Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
* Qualified to at least HNC standard (or equivalent) and CSCS card required
* Ability to take initiative and adapt to challenges
* Available to work from site 2–3 days per week; UK driving licence required
* Strong teamwork skills and self-motivation
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
