<div><p><b>Department:</b> CSG - Casualty (EL/PL / Complex Injury / Disease / Fraud / Motor Injury / Vehicle Hire and Damage)</p><p><b>Location:</b> Belfast</p><h3>Description</h3><p>We are looking for a number of Paralegals to join our market‑leading CSG team that works with over 40 insurance companies and self‑insured corporates.</p><p>Our team specialises in EL/PL, Professional Negligence, Medical Negligence and Employment and this role will cover a number of these areas.</p><p>This role will be situated in Belfast on a permanent basis, where you will be asked to come into the office 5 times a week.</p><h3>What you will do</h3><ul><li>Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre‑litigated or litigated work.</li><li>Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients upon receipt of instructions.</li><li>Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.</li><li>Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.</li><li>Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other Court documents.</li><li>Maintain contact with our clients and their customers whilst proactively managing their expectations.</li><li>Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs).</li><li>Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.</li></ul><h3>Who you are</h3><p>We are happy to hear from graduates or those with customer service/retail experience who are team players and have the passion for learning.
