On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Complaints Officer/Administrator to work as part of a fast-paced team. You will be responsible for the receipt, validation, and registration of all complaints in the Service. Ideally, you will have some experience working in a similar role that adheres to the Children's Act, Ombudsman regulations, and internal policies, or have the ability to learn this information quickly. This should be matched with a proven ability to act as a front-facing staff member in a public-facing service, including accurate recording of information, processes, and procedures. This role offers the possibility of working 37 or 30 hours per week. What the client is looking for:
Significant experience of high-quality customer care, including complaints handling and complex customer service queries NVQ Level 3 Customer Services or equivalent experience Complaints training is desirable Experience in a similar role adhering to the Children's Act, Ombudsman regulations, and internal policies, or the ability to learn quickly Ability to act as a front-facing staff member in a public-facing service, with accurate recording of information, processes, and procedures Experience working proactively with stakeholders at all levels and achieving good results Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and FoI compliance Change management and service review experience Knowledge of complaints/customer feedback processes and case management systems How to Apply
