Overview
We are recruiting a Reception Manager to join our Front of House Team. You will be the face of the hotel’s arrival experience, ensuring every guest receives a seamless, warm, and personalised welcome. Working closely with the Front of House Manager, you will drive service excellence, team performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily reception operations, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs, and guest interactions.
* Deliver and uphold 5‑star service standards, handling VIPs, special requests, and complex situations with confidence and charm.
* Coach, mentor, and motivate receptionists and supervisors to achieve exceptional performance.
* Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, room allocations, and system processes.
* Work closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Relations, and Reservations to ensure a flawless guest journey.
* Manage guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and effective solutions.
* Ensure all reception operations meet Edwardian Hotels London standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Reception Manager, Assistant Reception Manager, or senior Front Office Supervisor in a 5‑star hotel.
* A natural leader with strong communication skills and a passion for luxury hospitality.
* Confident in managing fast‑paced operations while maintaining calm, polished professionalism.
* Strong knowledge of PMS systems, billing procedures, and guest service protocols.
* A warm, engaging personality with a genuine commitment to exceptional guest care.
