We are recruiting for an Engineering ops manager Refridge Job Responsibilities Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Proven experience working in refrigeration and familiarity of air conditioning systems to manage a team performing planned and reactive services, install, repair and maintenance in the retail sector. Assist team with operations and maintenance issues there is expectation that you will support the team out on the estate. Manage, rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA Timeframes are always met. Direct contractors, subcontractors, and engineers on the entire maintenance aspect. Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and sub-contractor competencies before work permits are authorised. AP experience would be advantageous. Supervise and manage the daily operation of facility controls and asset management systems. Support preparation of annual operating budgets. Evaluate, forecast, and manage operations and maintenance costs for a specific location. Person Skills Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and qualifications and certifications. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. Excellent client relationship skills. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
