Job Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with the Bladder and Bowel Nurse Service to deliver fundamental, timely care. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Using your own initiative and working as part of a team are essential. An excellent telephone manner is vital, as the post involves direct contact with patients, health professionals, and third-party suppliers in line with operational practices. Embracing change and a commitment to best practice are also required.
Knowledge of Myrddin and Clinical Workstation is desirable, but training will be provided.
This role is busy, varied, challenging, but rewarding—an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
* Support the Bladder and Bowel Nursing Service following operational practices and processes.
* Handle enquiries, provide advice, and guidance from line managers as needed.
* Deliver excellent customer service by supporting service users via telephone, in line with operational procedures.
* Liaise with third-party suppliers as required.
* Fluency in Welsh is desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
