Job Description
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the curriculum and may deliver pre-planned lessons or provide PPA cover when required. You will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic progress, behaviour, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required.
* Provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
* Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
* Assist with planning, assessment, and resource preparation.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders.
* Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements:
* HLTA status or relevant Level 4/5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Experience working in a primary school setting.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Confidence leading lessons and supporting pupil progress.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
