A client I'm working with is recruiting for a Deputy Housing Operations Manager based in South London for the initial course of 3 months. Please see the details below:
Title: Deputy Housing Operations Manager
Contract length: 3 months
Rate: Negotiable
Working pattern: 3-4 days p/w in office
Skill set:
* Homelessness experience
* Previous experience guiding and managing homelessness officers
* Experience making referrals and authorising temporary accommodation
* Up to date knowledge of relevant housing legislation
Day to day responsibilities:
* Managing all front line housing services
* Checking S.184 decisions that are made and approve temporary accommodation requests
* Provide 1 to1's to staff
* Support staff on duty
* Ensuring safeguarding duties are followed and referrals are made where necessary
