Stobart is now looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on their Rail (Containers) and Bulk Mixer (Tanker) operations in Rugby.
Job Description
The Rail work involves moving curtain-sided containers in and out of ESL rail terminals across the UK, including loading and unloading at customer sites. Skeletal trailer training and curtain-sided box training will be provided.
The Bulk Mixer operation uses bulk tankers to load liquid yeast from Felixstowe and transport tankers to Rugby and Carlisle. The role primarily involves driving to Felixstowe to load and returning to Rugby, including trunking tankers between Rugby and Carlisle.
Shifts on Rail Operation:
1. Monday-Friday Days from 06:00am / Nights from 18:00pm.
2. Sunday-Thursday Days from 06:00am.
Shifts on Bulk Mixer Operation:
1. Sunday-Thursday from 06:00am.
2. Monday-Friday Nights from 18:00pm.
3. Day shifts Monday to Friday at £15.00/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
4. Night shifts Monday to Friday at £16.30/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
5. Weekend day shifts (Saturday and Sunday) at £18.00/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
6. Weekend night shifts (Saturday and Sunday) at £18.50/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
7. Bank Holidays at £18.81/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
Qualifications
* Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience required.
* Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card required.
* No more than 6 points on your Licence, with no DD/DR Code convictions.
* Understanding of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
* Ability to carry out vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects.
* Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
