HR Business Partner – Southampton - £55,000 + bonus – Fully on site Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Business Partner to join a globally renowned company based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience as an HR Advisor or HRBP, with exposure to a production or manufacturing environment.

HR Business Partner duties include:
1. Overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
2. Empowering hiring managers to proactively address future talent needs, regularly reviewing recruitment materials to align with business goals.
3. Managing employee relations cases (e.g., capability, performance, disciplinary, grievance, long-term sickness) and providing guidance to ensure timely and legally compliant processes.
4. Organising and attending hearings/meetings, ensuring all relevant paperwork is prepared and records are accurately maintained.
5. Designing and delivering engaging training on key HR topics, including employment law, diversity and inclusion, performance management, recruitment, and disciplinary procedures.
6. Driving performance improvement by promoting positive changes in people management practices.
7. Collaborating with senior management to implement performance management activities, including appraisals and salary reviews, ensuring consistency across the organisation.
8. Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives, guiding managers and teams through transitions to ensure smooth implementation and employee buy-in.
9. Working with stakeholders to create consistent messaging and coaching managers in adapting to new structures, processes, and ways of working, maintaining morale and engagement.
10. Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by integrating DEI practices into all people processes and activities.
11. Maintaining and updating HR trackers to ensure accurate reporting and support efficient HR operations.
Person Specification:
1. Proven experience as an HRBP or Senior HR Advisor, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive decision-making at all levels.
3. Proactive and solution-oriented, skilled in managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity.
4. Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and its application.
5. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks while effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
6. CIPD Qualified or equivalent.
