Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

At Saltaire Brewery, we’re looking for an Operations Manager / General Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operations, from warehouse to wheels to office, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the Team
You’ll inspire and manage a team across drivers, warehouse, and office functions:
* Lead, support, and develop a multi-functional team
* Oversee driver schedules and journey routing
* Ensure seamless coordination between departments
* Monitor performance and maintain high operational standards
Running Warehouse & Logistics
* Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch operations
* Keep deliveries running efficiently and on schedule
* Step in when needed, this is a hands-on role
* Continuously improve processes to boost efficiency
Owning Stock Management
* Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy
* Coordinate stock call-offs and transfers
* Work closely with production to ensure availability
* Maintain reliable stock systems and reporting
Keeping the Office Flowing
* Oversee daily office operations and admin workflows
* Ensure all delivery and stock documentation is accurate
* Support invoicing, reporting, and internal processes
Supporting the Bigger Picture
* Collaborate with sales, production, and leadership teams
* Identify opportunities to improve how we operate
* Help shape processes as the business grows
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Experience managing operations, warehouse, or logistics teams
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Experience with stock management systems
* Ability to coordinate drivers, routes, and deliveries
* Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Desirable:
* Experience in brewery, beverage, or FMCG environments
* Knowledge of ERP or inventory systems
* Experience managing office or admin teams
* Warehouse or forklift knowledge
