Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Residential Child Care Worker role based in Fordingbridge. The role involves providing day-to-day care, support, and guidance to children and young people in a residential setting, promoting their safety, well-being, and personal development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, such as mealtimes, personal care (where required), school preparation, and recreational activities. Helping to manage behavior in a consistent, trauma-informed way, build trusting relationships, and act as a positive role model. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, contributing to care plans, liaising with external professionals (such as social workers and educators), and participating in team meetings and ongoing training.
