FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Buyer based in the West of Aberdeen on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available.
Main duties include:
* Purchasing of goods & services, in line with company procedures and criteria on pricing, suitability, quality etc
* Sourcing suppliers and issuing RFQs, comparing and analysing Quotes received
* Creating and expediting POs, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of any changes
* Liaising with various internal departments, including Operations and Finance teams
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records throughout the purchasing process
Suitable candidates should have the following:
* Previous experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering or Marine sectors
* IT literate, with experience in use of Excel and Procurement software
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines
Candidates should be based locally to the Aberdeen area, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
