We have a fantastic opportunity for an influential, strategic, and engaging Senior HR Business Partner, the role can be based at our Dalton, Thirsk or Lostock, Bolton office offering hybrid working.

A critical part of this role is leading complex Industrial Relations activity in a heavily unionised environment.

Proven, hands-on experience managing and driving Trade Union negotiations is essential. This is not a developmental area we need someone who has already operated confidently and successfully at this level.

Vacancy Details

Were looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to support our group Manufacturing operations. This is a high-impact, strategic role requiring exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to influence at the most senior levels of the organisation.

Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and executive managers, delivering and presenting HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead Industrial Relations at a strategic and operational level, maintaining robust, constructive relationships with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
Drive complex Trade Union negotiations, consultation processes and bargaining discussions, ensuring outcomes that protect business performance while maintaining strong employee engagement.
Lead and implement complex organisational change, ensuring engagement and successful outcomes.
Influence and challenge senior stakeholders to drive cultural and business performance.
Line manage and develop a HR Business Partner, fostering capability and growth.

Key Skills & Experience

Extensive HR experience within a manufacturing or operational environment.
Deep Industrial Relations expertise with a strong track record of leading high-stakes Trade Union negotiations, resolving disputes and navigating challenging industrial landscapes. (This experience is a must.)
Demonstrated ability to deliver change and strategic HR initiatives and in still passion.
Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders and executive teams.
Digital fluency and adeptness in leveraging data to inform compelling stories and strategies
CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
