About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen & Bathroom Design Surveyor to join our Coatbridge branch in a brand-new role supporting our investment and capital improvement programmes. You will play an important part in enhancing homes across the local area by delivering high-quality surveys, designs, and technical advice to meet client and tenant expectations.
1. Working on NLE capital kitchen design projects and attending design meetings
2. Visiting tenant homes to take measurements and guide clients and tenants through suitable layout options
3. Presenting colour, cabinet and worktop choices, and ensuring designs comply with SHQS
4. Checking building services, identifying changes required for installation, and generating accurate drawings using CAD/planner software
5. Producing formal designs, drawings and documentation for client approval
6. Carrying out kitchen, bathroom and window surveys aligned to client specifications and investment programmes
7. Providing estimates, measurements and costing information while ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory standards
8. Supporting colleagues and clients with clear technical communication before, during and after works
9. Contributing to commercial growth and continuous improvement across the branch
10. Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining a strong customer-first approach in all activities
Key Criteria:
You’ll be a proactive self-starter who can manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a wider team. You’ll take pride in providing exceptional customer service and representing the Coatbridge branch with professionalism. Travel across the region will be required
11. Previous experience conducting home measures/surveys
12. Experience using planner software; CAD, Cabinet Vision or similar software
13. Knowledge of kitchen installation, relevant legislation and specifications
14. Proven track record in producing kitchen, bathroom and window surveys/designs
15. IT literate with strong communication and influencing skills
16. Full UK driving licence
17. Experience working in social housing or with local authority clients would be an advantage
18. HNC/HND in Construction or Building Services would be advantageous
