Position Summary
Were looking for an MEP Design Lead to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team.
Location: London. Good flexible working options available.
Hours: Full-time with some flexibility on hours.

Responsibilities
* Lead MEP design and coordination delivery for complex projects over £200m, from PCSA through to completion.
* Supervise the MEP design management team, providing mentoring, performance management, and career development support.
* Oversee design workstreams to ensure consultants and supply chain partners deliver quality outputs to programme and budget.
* Collaborate with construction design counterparts, commercial teams, and clients to ensure alignment with project strategy and requirements.
* Manage design risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with Building Safety Act, ISO 19650, HTM/HBNs, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications
* Senior level experience in Tier 1 contracting with a strong track record in technical delivery of complex or major projects over £200m, ideally in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or similar sectors.
* Hold engineering qualifications (ideally BEng Hons in Building Services Engineering) and membership of a professional institute such as CIBSE or IET.
* Excellent technical and digital knowledge, including BIM (ISO 19650), Building Safety Act, statutory legislation, and relevant requirements such as BREEAM.
* Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and achieve high standards of performance.
* Collaborative team player and clear communicator who thrives on solving problems and building positive relationships.
